Mission

Putting a bottle of Jako Epis in every Haitian fridge across the U.S. and becoming the #1 best-selling seasoning worldwide.

About US

Jako Epis is named after our grandmother, Jacqueline Lebrun everyone call her Jako.

She is the heart of our lakou. Every weekend, the rich smell of her bouyon would fill the air, and clients—young and old—would come by to help, eat, and line up for a bowl. There was no need for a storefront—her name alone carried weight. It wasn’t formal education or business plans that made things work. It was her sense of order, her generosity, and the deep love she had for her people. That was more than enough.

Growing up around her taught us what real richness looks like: discipline, community, and flavor that brings people together.

That’s what we’ve bottled with Jako Epis.

Made with real Haitian ingredients and the same care she put into every meal, this epis is a tribute to her legacy—and to the kitchens, the mothers, the aunties, and the grandmas who carry our culture forward every day.

This isn’t just about food.
It’s about memory.
It’s about identity.
It’s about Jako.
